launch

Before n42°w81° web development studio launches any website, we thoroughly run through our pre-launch check-list to ensure that your site is bullet-proof, from day one ...

  • proof read everything
We read everything ... more than once. We ask that you to read it, and read it again. Then we ask that someone else you trust proof reads the entire site too.
  • functionality
We test everything thoroughly. We set up your website in a secure environment so you can test it too. We ask that others test your website, and not just employees and friends, but the website´s target market. We request that you sit back and watch how your test group uses the website. It´s amazing what we pickup on when others use your website differently than how we assumed they would use it.
  • domain name registration
We utilize authorized registrar services to register, transfer, renew or modify domain names on your behalf..
  • hosting
If you have not contracted with a hosting service, we will work with you to do so. Although n42°w81° web development studio is an affiliate of netfirmsTM web hosting, we are able to work with your host of choice. Hosting can be arranged for as little as little as $5/month, but typically is $10/month for business sites..
  • analytics
Installing analytics is important for measuring statistics to see how your website performs. We track daily unique hits, monthly page views and browser statistics ... all useful data, as soon as your website is launched, and we show you how to interpret the tracking yourself.
  • cross-browser compatibility checks
It´s important that your website works across all popular browsers. Everything should work, and the user shouldn´t see any problems. We normally test across the most popular browsers, including Internet Explorer 6-9, and the most rececent versions of Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and Opera.
  • back-up
Of course, we will back-up your entire site, away from the hosting servers. If your website runs a database, we will talk to you about a back-up strategy, and ensure that the day does not come when you regret not having one.
